Team IPP at Productronica 2025

Last month, members of the IPP team travelled to Munich to attend Productronica 2025 - the world’s leading trade fair for electronics development and production. The event brought together global innovators, suppliers and industry leaders, offering a glimpse into the technologies shaping the future of electronics manufacturing.

For our team, the visit was both inspiring and eye-opening. Mike Paton reflected on the sheer scale of the event, “For me, it was amazing to see the scale of the show. We don’t have anything like this in the UK.”

Productronica’s size and diversity always creates an environment where innovative ideas and equipment are showcased. From production technologies and automation to inspection systems and new component advances, the exhibition featured the full spectrum of the electronics manufacturing landscape. The opportunity to see so many of our suppliers in one place was another highlight. As one colleague shared, “To see all of our suppliers in one place, all releasing new products or developments, was great to see.”

A particular standout was the GenS, an innovation from IPP technology partner Asys. One team member noted how impressive the full setup was and how encouraging it felt to see such strong advancements from a key partner.

These face-to-face conversations and first-hand demonstrations help us stay ahead of industry trends and ensure we continue bringing the very best solutions to our customers.

Attending Productronica strengthens our commitment to innovation, technical expertise and strong supplier relationships. We look forward to bringing what we learned back to the UK and to returning to Munich for future events.
